Jos Diegel
(*1982 NETHERLANDS/ GERMANY) is a filmmaker and visual artist. He studied Fine Art and Audiovisual Media at the Offenbach am Main Academy of Art and Design and in the "Free Class" at the Städelschule in Frankfurt am Main until 2010. He lives and works in Leipzig and Offenbach am Main.
His films and performances have been presented internationally, including at Lichter Filmfest International (Frankfurt), DokFest (Kassel), Berlinale (Berlin), Video Art Fest (Athens), Intern Media Art Festival (Nova Gorica), Arse Elektronika (San Francisco), Xin Dan Wei (Shanghai), Center for contemporary Art (Plovdiv), Museo d'arte contemporea Roma (Rome), Salzburger Kunstverein (Salzburg) and The Lodge Gallery (New York).
As a video artist, Jos Diegel was involved in theater projects at the Schauspiel Frankfurt, the Ringlokschuppen Mülheim an der Ruhr, the Mousonturm Frankfurt, the Studio Naxos and the Theater Gessnerallee Zurich.
